About Project Pink'd Elephant
Our Mission
At Project Pink'd Elephant, our mission is to love and support underserved women, aged 18 and above; affected by chronic illness, physical disabilities, poor mental health issues, struggling with disease of addiction, loss of their only child, experiencing hidden homelessness, racial trauma, prevent cancelling doctor's appointments, ease the financial burden by providing practical support, financial resources, burial assistance, scholarships, and community services, promoting healthier behaviors.

Grants for copayments, deductibles, and coinsurance, doctor’s bill.
Aftercare pharmaceutical allowance.
General living necessities, toiletries, gift cards, travel vouchers.
Clothing vouchers.
Homelessness support.
Advocacy navigation-Listen to your concerns and find answers to your questions.
Help clients' complete applications for SSI, social security, public benefits.
Provide representative payee services to clients.
ID/DL, birth certificates and replacement.
Copies of electronic health records.
Review insurance policy coverage and explanation of benefits
Durable medical equipment purchase.
Educational Scholarships "In Progress"
Ginger Peach Scholarship, a scholarship funded by Project Pink’d Elephant, to connect two female students, ages 18-24, with education resources that prepare to get the most of out of their education, who are liver transplant recipients, living with chronic liver disease, waiting list candidates, and/or transplant immediate family members aged 25 years or younger. The applicant must be attending or planning to attend Houston Community College in the Houston area. While there is no essay required, we will ask applicants to compose four sentences answering the question why is organ donation important? Applicants will agree to share their story for Project Pink’d Elephant website.

Ivory Tuski's Fund will help clients with everyday health-related social necessities, such as:
personal hygiene kits
Nutritional supplements
Diapers and baby wipes donation
House cleaning services (for the elderly)
Pro-bono notary services
Donation of eye exam and eyeglasses prescription for teens who cannot afford eyewear.
